“He who gives money, gives much; he who gives time, gives more, but he who gives of himself gives all.” ~ Thomas S. Monson
Everyone has that friend or loved that is especially difficult to shop for. You know that person. You’re checking off your list and then you get stumped on that one name. Admittingly, I am usually that person; so, I know it’s difficult to shop for that introverted friend or family member. Every year my family is like, what do you want? and I always respond with, I don’t know, anything.
Of course, this doesn’t help! In the end, giving money in a card or simply a gift card is the usual outcome. Now, don’t get me wrong, money is always nice, but there are more personal and thoughtful gifts that can be given. When you give a gift, you want it to be special. A gift says, I thought about the kind of person you are, the things you enjoy, and I personally invested in a gift that would bring you delight. So, let me guide you through gifting your introverted friend.

It’s important to remember when shopping for your introverted friend that all introverts are not the same. In fact, there are four different types of introverts: social, thinking, anxious and reserved. I would, highly recommend learning the differences between these types. Introversion is not a clear-cut opposition of extroversion. Most introverts will be a combination of these types or have more of a couple. The common ground is that your introverts are more inward-thinking than outward thinking.
So, how can we delight these inward thinkers. Look at the things the enjoy or spend the majority of their time on. Generally, anything that allows them to be creative and artsy, introspective, pensive or push their imagination will be a compelling gift. Here are some items to consider for your list…
Books
Air pods/ Headphones
Something for their pet
Portable Charger
Crafts
Gift card to online boutique
Coffee or tea membership
Vinyl records
Themed quilts
Goodie baskets
Something handmade
Scented candles
Humidifier or oil diffuser
Journals & Pens
Quilts
Wall art
P.S. If all else fails, check out their amazon list 😉

This is such a unique gift guide! As an introvert myself, I love receiving books, journals and pens!
